The Apprentice has returned to our screens with a bang, as 18 ambitious entrepreneurs headed to London with a dream and a business plan, all with one goal: to impress Lord Sugar enough to bag the prize of a £250,000 investment into their venture and mentorship from Sugar himself.

Over the next few weeks, the 18 hopeful candidates will compete head-to-head in 12 tough tasks to take them closer to the finishing line. But, as we all know, it won’t be smooth sailing for most.

As always, viewers are already speculating on UK betting apps about who is the likely Apprentice winner, and where they’ve hailed from.

So, which Series 19 candidates are heading for victory? And who’s going to be hearing “you’re fired” quicker than they can unpack their suitcase? Let’s get down to business…

*Spoilers of episode three ahead*

The Apprentice Winner Odds 2025: Which candidates are most likely to win?

(Week 3) Contestants - The Apprentice

What happened in week 3?

Week 3 was one of Lord Sugar’s favourite tasks – a classic sourcing and negotiating task. The candidates were sent to Stratford-Upon-Avon and Warwickshire to put their negotiating skills to the test, asked to source 9 different items at the lowest possible price.

Those who chose the right items, at the lowest prices, would be the winning team. There was also a small switch up in teams.

Dean was voted to be project manager in his team, describing himself as a ‘haggler’. In the other group, Carlo tried to put himself forward as PM after being criticised for ‘not putting himself forward’ enough in previous tasks, however, when it came down to a vote, Max was actually voted to be PM.

Ultimately, Dean’s team ended with a total of £535.15 after sourcing 7 correct items and receiving 2 fines. Max’s team ended up with a grand total of £639.14 – after receiving a rather hefty fine after the sub team was late.

Who was eliminated in week 3?

It ended up being a disaster for Max’s team – with the highest grand total, Max brought back both Carlo and Liam to the boardroom to face Lord Sugar.

Liam was criticised for creating a ‘make-shift’ boat hook after being unable to source one – however this led to a fine for the team, however, some team members were quick to point out that as least there was an attempt at improvisation there – whereas Max decided to completely forgo getting the Ophelia wine due to time constraints.

Ultimately, it was Carlo who was fired. He’s made waves across the team since the first episode, being branded as ‘disruptive’ whilst according to his team mates, not really doing much at all.

Dean’s odds have improved, from 11/5 to 9/5 after a decent performance during his time as PM for the first time. Liam’s odds have also improved slightly – from 7/2 to 13/5, despite his actions leading to a fine, he was commended for ‘taking a risk’

Ultimately, it’s Max’s odds who have dropped – after a poor performance as PM. Going from 7/2 to 9/2.

The Apprentice 2025 Odds: Where in the UK is a winning business partner likely to be from?

(Week 3 - Regions) The Apprentice

Southerners more likely to win

The North vs South has long been a heated debate. But what about when it comes to business?

Well, according to UK betting sites, Southerners are more likely to win The Apprentice than Northerners, based on this series of candidates.

Specifically, it looks like this year’s winner is most likely going to be a Londoner at 4/11, which could be good news for Amber-Rose Badrudin, Anisa Khan and Mia Collins, who make up the top three spots on bookies’ lists.

However, second most likely to win this year’s The Apprentice, is a Liverpudlian, no doubt thanks to the public’s early backing of Tutoring Company Owner, Jonny Heaver. Perhaps we’ll see a victory for “the nice guy” after all?

Overall though, according to the stats, there are far more southern UK regions that are likely to win than northern regions, including Essex 6/5, Milton Keynes 15/8, Surrey 5/2 and West Sussex 7/2 – so it might not be a winner from the capital.

Only time will tell which candidate will be hearing those fateful words next, and who is one step closer to becoming Lord Sugar’s next business partner. One thing we know for sure: we’re in for an entertaining ride…
